Application
The Raschig ring is approximately equal in length and diameter, and is used as a packing in the tower during distillation and other chemical engineering processes. Provide a large surface area in the tower for the interaction between liquid and gas or steam.

When steam and liquid pass countercurrently in a small space, they tend to balance. It is suitable for devices that contact gas and liquid for gas absorption, stripping or chemical reaction, and as a support for biofilms in bioreactors.
